Life with the Little Ladies

I'm sure most of you could care less to see some of the things on this blog but I know a few grandma's who eat this stuff up so the rest of you either can suffer through it or just skip it all together. (FYI Grandma's, if you want to see the picture up close, just click on it.)

Since I'm so behind on these post some of the pictures I had to really look at to figure out what was going on. Here are a few of them:

Do you give up? Alexa HATES lotion. When I say hates, I mean HATES!!!! One night after reading scriptures the girls were complaining about being itchy (it was winter at the time) so I told them to grab the lotion and put some on. Alexa refused, of course. But her sisters wanted to make sure that she got some on. This is them "helping out".

These next few pictures are of the girls once again playing on a Sunday afternoon. You can see that the books are set up like tents in the wilderness. All the blue books are water and Lehi and his family are traveling in the boat. Seriously, I don't know how we got to be so lucky. These girls remember more scriptures than I do and I am WAY older than them. I NEVER would have played like this. I count my blessings everyday that they make my life that much easier. I just don't want them to grow up.

You ARE lucky, you also ARE a great mom, too! Happy Mother's day, by the way. I love the way you turned the time doing hair into a bonding time. I keep trying to convince myself that the bed time routine could be the same way and I am slowly getting better. Your post really encouraged me! Love you Casey!

Just think what great primary teachers they're going to be someday.

Also--you're right. We Grandma's love this sort of thing!

I'm cracking up right now because Noah hates lotion too! I will have to tell him that he and his cousin are like minded on that one!

This is great. This is a product of kids that aren't allowed to watch TV all day. This grandma really appreciates seeing these pictures.
