McKenna Louise Van Buskirk

She finally arrived, and in grand fashion. McKenna Louise Van Buskirk was born - 30 May 2007 @ 2:25 PM. She weighed in at 8 lbs. 10 oz, and was 21" long. She is cute as can be and is as loveable as her three big sisters. Here are a few pictures of her for your enjoyment. There will be more to come, just be patient.

OH WHAT DO YOU DO IN THE SUMMERTIME

What do you do in the summertime? If you are a Van Buskirk girl, you spend as much time as possible in the backyard pool. It is not all that fancy, but it is wet and it is cool. Plus doing cannonball flips (or as Maya refers to them - Candyballs) on the grass can be quite painfull if you don't quite get all the way around and stick the landing. Here are some pics of what I affectionately like to refer to as the "geeker geeks"!!

TIM IS FINALLY FINISHED WITH SCHOOL!!!!!

By holy order of Queen Van Buskirk, I (Tim) am hereby finished with my classroom education and will never enter into another classroom educational (degreed) program!! What does that mean? It means that the queen has spoken and I am done going to school. Here are some pictures from graduation. I also have some videos, but I am not quite sure how to post those.

LIFE COMES AT YOU FAST

Many of you (I am sure) have heard the comercial (I can't remember what it is for) that has the saying "life comes at you fast). Well, the last month or so, that is what our family life has been like. The last three weeks have brought about several big ordeals in our family:

1. Tim graduated from UoP with his MBA. (pictures & post to follow)
2. Olivia lost a front tooth (pictures and posts to follow - I have to take them first)
3. Casey is having a baby today (it is supposed to be a girl and we are in the hospital right now waiting for the baby to come on down - we'll know how smart that darn DR. really is after McKenna or ? is born).

I will post pictures of the new baby later. For all of you that read this regularly, stop your bellyaching about me not posting enough. I have had to cook dinner for the queen and her subserviants.

David Stern is a Jerk

As a HUGE Phoenix Suns fan, I am just utterly peaved that David Stern cannot pull his big fat head out of his lower extremities. What in the world did Amare Stoudemire and Boris Diaw do (other than take a few steps off of the bench) to deserve being suspended for game 5? He says that the league is not in a position to make "judgement" calls on player conduct, yet he does just that everytime he lays down suspensions and fines!! What a moron you are!! You make Gary Bettman look like a genius everytime you open your mouth. Do either of these guys look like they are the bad guys that Stern has them out to be?

Pregnant Ladies Idea of a "SNACK"

When you go on vacation, where do you take your pregnant wife for her enjoyment? A place like Mikes Pastry in Boston is heaven for anyone that enjoys Italian pastries. I even found that I like the canolies. I guess that after four trips to see Fenway, I owed Casey a little stop like Mikes. As you can see from the picture, she took PLENTY home with her.

After eating at Mikes, stopping off at one of the 10,000 Dunkin' Donuts seemed a bit like visiting a McDonalds instead of stopping off at IN-N-OUT!!
