Landon says "Good Bye"

I have mentioned to many of you how I have always enjoyed living away from family. Not because I don't like them, just because I want to KEEP liking them. We were fortunate enough to have the Gibb's (my brother and his family) live right down the street from us for almost 6 months. They have 1 married daughter and 4 boys. My girls absolutely adore them all. They loved having "big brothers" to pick on them and I loved having them experience it. We had a great time while they were here. I learned that I can KEEP liking my family even while living near them. (I don't need a buffer zone after all.)

The big boys left first (to start school) and they are so sweet they came over to say good bye to the girls the night before they left. I'm not as sweet as they are because I forgot to take pictures of when Brenden left or when the whole family left. I did however get a few pictures with Landon.


This was a major break through for McKenna. We were all so excited that she was willing to give Landon a hug. Believe it or not, this girl will now pretty much give anyone a hug.

We sure miss our family and we will keep our memories of those 6 months close to our hearts. Come back and visit ANYTIME! Although I am sure you probably don't want to make this drive for many many years.
