Many months ago my girls recieved some silly putty (I think a freeby thing from the bank or something.) They were busy playing with it when all of a sudden someone somehow lost the egg behind a cabinet in the living room. Nothing was said and life went on. Fast Forward a few months later when we decided to move the cabinet and to my utter dismay found this lovely sight of silly putty. I tried to stay calm while trying to figure out how in the heck you get silly putty out of carpet. It was stuck pretty good. I started pulling it out and got a nice clump and set it to the side. For some reason the girls were not afraid of me at the time and sat in the room as I was cleaning up the mess. As I was pulling out the silly putty tiny piece after piece I look up to see Alexa start playing with the large clump that I first pulled out. I quickly told her that no one will be playing with this anymore and to put it down NOW!!!! Olivia, who always either seems to see the bright side of things (or just has quite a few blond moments) chimes in with, "Well, at least we saved SOME of the silly putty." Whew, and I was worried about my carpet.

hey i have some green sparkly silly putty stuck in the carpet on our stairs. i tried the ice cube trick, no luck. now silly putty is an outside toy!!
