So, if you follow my blog you are probably shocked that I am making two posts in one day. I know I still have a bunch to update for the grandparents - Christmas, Valentine's, etc. But I just had to post after reading my friend, Carrie's blog. I have found that through reading her blog, we think a lot alike. I have always been frustrated with earth day and being green in general. I have a hard time following a "holiday" that was organized by a bunch of "hippies" telling us to keep the earth clean while they spent their time wasted and NOT keeping their own bodies clean. I don't get it. Anyway, I saw Carrie's blog today and she says exactly what I feel and think about this whole earth day. Every earth day I have to re-do what the schools tell my children and this year I will be sharing Carrie's blog with them. Thanks for the "curriculum" Carrie! Check out Carrie's post HERE.

I loved your friends blog and your blog. Jake has been talking non-stop about recycling and thinks I am a slacker because I dont recycle enough. Emma had to go early to school today and carry around a trash bag before school to get the other students to throw their trash away. What? Shouldn't we do that everyday? I feel like there are so many more important things to do than "go green".
