Halloween . . . . WHAT!???!!!

Halloween 2013 was a crazy day.  I told the girls early on in the month that I wasn't going to be making any costumes and that they would have to find something in the Halloween containers.  They decided to wear the Kimono's my sister and I got from our exchange student from when I was 13 years old.  Perfect.  Done and done.  McKenna chose to be a 50's girl from a few years back.  Easy Peasy!  On Halloween day, though, Maya decided that she wasn't feeling well.  She hadn't been all day.  Complaining that her back was bothering her.  Finally after a few more questions and a fever, I determined she had a UTI.  Ugh!  It was too late in the day to go to the doctor so I rushed her over to Urgent Care.  I wish I could just call them and tell them to write us up a prescription.  I have all girls, we've experienced this on a number of occasions, it's pretty obvious what's going on.  But no, I have to follow protocol.  After urgent care we ran to Walgreens for her meds.  20 MINUTES later and a lot of questions (they tried to tell me we didn't have insurance for Maya.) we got her meds and raced home.  By this time it was about 5:30pm.  I rushed in to try and help everyone get dressed, make dinner, serve dinner and answer the door for all the trick or treaters that were coming.  And Tim wasn't home from work yet.  It was crazy.  By the time dinner was done, the girls were dressed and pictures were taken, Maya didn't feel up for trick or treating.  So she stayed home, poor girl.  But she has 2 super nice sisters that split their candy with her when they got home.  (I didn't even suggest it, they just planned on doing it from the beginning.)  Yes, I'm blessed to have such good girls.
Note:  No pictures of Alexa - she's 16 now and went to hang out with her friends. Hard to come to grips with this new life with teenagers.
