Summer Fun on a Boring Hot Day

Since I am not that creative of a mom I am blessed with creative daughters. One boring summer day they decided to make up a game. They took the two containers of dress up stuff and had a race to see who could put all the clothes on from their own container the fastest. Maya LOVES the camera so she decided she needed to be in the pictures also.

The middle area under the USA sign is going to be a basket or bucket or something to store supplies in.

Alexa & Olivia's room. Tim made the desk and then we painted the wall and put up the cork board. Just a small project that HAD to be done before the baby was born.

Ok! This is for Jeannie and Maren. You have been asking to see pics of stuff around the house, baby bedding and the girls rooms. Here is McKenna's baby bedding. It looks better in person, I think.

McKenna was finally left alone long enough for Livie to have a turn holding her. There is always someone in line to hold her. Boy is she lucky to have so many mommy's in the house.

The day after McKenna was born her 3 big sisters came to see her. They were so excited. McKenna had other plans and just wanted to cry most of the time. She finally calmed down and decided to enjoy the girls.

McKenna Louise Van Buskirk

She finally arrived, and in grand fashion. McKenna Louise Van Buskirk was born - 30 May 2007 @ 2:25 PM. She weighed in at 8 lbs. 10 oz, and was 21" long. She is cute as can be and is as loveable as her three big sisters. Here are a few pictures of her for your enjoyment. There will be more to come, just be patient.

OH WHAT DO YOU DO IN THE SUMMERTIME

What do you do in the summertime? If you are a Van Buskirk girl, you spend as much time as possible in the backyard pool. It is not all that fancy, but it is wet and it is cool. Plus doing cannonball flips (or as Maya refers to them - Candyballs) on the grass can be quite painfull if you don't quite get all the way around and stick the landing. Here are some pics of what I affectionately like to refer to as the "geeker geeks"!!
