In July of 2012 all the Van Buskirks' had a family vacation to Oxnard, CA. Abuela and Grumps(AKA Grandma and Grandpa Van Buskirk) rented a HUGE house for all of us. (Yes, we know we are spoiled.) The kids had a great time. They all got along so well. It's so great to watch how cousins can have such a bond. We spent a lot of time down out the water, despite how cold it was. The kids didn't care at all.

The highlight of the trip for me was going to the Reagan Library. Such an impressive place. Such an impressive president. I can definitely say, they don't make 'em like they used to.

For as long as I have known Scott I have heard him talk about surfing. I told him, that I had never actually seen him in the water and questioned (jokingly) if he could really surf. So he had to prove me wrong. I'm no photographer but I thought I did pretty good with this one.

When we got back from the beach, Kristine invited us over to her parents house to ride her dad's horse. We had a great time.
