Thanksgiving 2010

We had a great Thanksgiving.  My mom and dad, Maren and her family, and our neighbor's Heidi, Ty and Abby (their dad was missed as he was working that day) all came to share in the festivities with us.
Tim decided to make 2 turkeys so we could have twice as many of all the parts.  Great plan except the turkeys took a little longer than planned.  We occupied ourselves with cheese and crackers, visiting and lots of rounds of Boggle.  These birds were definitely worth the wait.
Here is Maren modeling the food.
My dad contributed to the meal by arranging these crackers, cheese and grapes.  Yes, we are all amazed by his mad cooking skills.
Everyone hanging out waiting for the birds.
Tim was so busy in the kitchen enjoying his favorite holiday and hobby that I could only get this quick picture of him.
Time to eat!
After all the feastivities, Friday we spent the day playing outside, jumping rope, playing woofleball in the back yard and just whatever else we felt like doing.  We got some good footage of the jump roping competition.
Nothing says Happy Thanksgiving like 2 grown men jumping rope together.  Love these guys!
Livie and Daddy
Hyde and I trying to jump together.  Too bad I don't have any footage of myself, Maren or Alexa during the competition.  It's riveting footage watching someone jump 100+ times in a row.
Hyde learning how to jump.  After just a few tries this kid was awesome.  I wish we had some video of it.  This was all I got.
And for the highlight - The grandma and grandpa - they can't just stand by and let all the fun be had by the rest of us.  Honestly, I hope that when I am "that old" I can still jumprope.
Thanks all for a fun time.
