McKenna-isms

My sister did a fun post on her blog a while back of the cute things that her kids say.  I thought that was a great idea to have a record of that.  I wish I would have done it for all my kids.  But alas I didn't.  But there are a few things that McKenna has said that we enjoy.  Thanks for the idea, Maren.

1.  "I can do it BY ALL MYSELF." - This is heard at least 5 or 6 times a day.

2.  Nowich  - which means Sandwich (not quite sure where she got that one.)  But she wants a nowich EVERY DAY for lunch with "mommy jam" and peanut butter on it.

3.  While we were putting away the Christmas decorations McKenna got really sad and said, "I want Christmas to stay.  I don't want it to go away."  Then a few days later she got to go to her friends house and she came home and told me, "Tabatha still has Christmas at her house."

4."How Come?" "How come?" "How come?" "How come?"  "How come?" "How come?" "How come?" . .

5.   When McKenna has to climb up or down the stairs and doesn't want to you'll hear, "My knees hurt."  (I keep wondering when she is going to figure out that it's not working for her.)

6.   When I am cooking she will either say, "That looks like yummy" or "That not look like yummy, no."

7.  About 6 months ago we were getting ready doing our normal bathroom routine and it was McKenna's turn to get her hair done.  She responded with, "Do me a favor, not do my hair."

This is what I can remember for now.  Hopefully I'll remember to post more as she says more things that I want to remember.  She is so much fun.  I can't imagine our family with out her.

These are wonderful. Grumps can't eat a sandwich without calling it a "nowich" since he heard McKenna call it that. I wonder if after watching me struggle up and down the stairs and complain about my knees, that McKenna thought she would follow Buela!

I wondered the same thing as Abuela about the knees. Was it my fault? One time she wanted me to carry her up the stairs, and I told her I couldn't because it hurts my knees. Hmmm. This really was a fun post. I bet if we put our heads together, we could come up with a few for the other girls. Can anyone say "favric?"

So sweet. I love it when they show their personality through these little windows!
