We are so lucky to have the greatest friends ever. This past weekend they drove all night from Arkansas to come see us here in North Carolina. What troopers they are. We had the best time. And can't wait to get together again with them.
Reading stories and cleaning the bathroom. These friends are definite keepers.
They don't get any cuter than this.
We can't document this event without mentioning Maddie. McKenna became her biggest fan. After they left I think McKenna missed Maddie the most. (I just wish I would have gotten a picture of them together, but when your having so much fun the camera gets forgotten.)
It was sad to see the weekend go by so fast but we will just make sure to do this again.

Casey, You need to leave a "Still undecided" in your poll. Also, thanks for including us in your favorite bloggers. Oh wait. You didn't. I guess I will have to do a better job of creative writing and pictures.
I am SO glad you responded. Last night I changed our blog and lost all of my blog addresses. I tried to retrieve as many as possible but didn't have yours. Thanks and I'll ad you to the list right away. I don't know what happened but I had other choices for my poll. I will check it out and definitely ad undecided. Does that mean you are undecided? If you are would you like me to help you out with that? :)
Ok! Marque. I fixed the poll. But you will have to go vote again, if you already did. I had to delete all the answers to fix it. I don't know what happened but it only listed a few of my choices the first time. It's good now.
I'm sooo jelious!! However all my boys might have cramped your style. It looks like you had a lot of fun. We are trying to think of something to do for spring break and i think visiting the Van Buskirks has just made the top 3 list!
Scrubbing bathrooms??? Can they come to AZ next?? That is so fun to already have some fun visitors!
You know, I am still undecided, but I am leaning towards a candidate a little more. I am more interested in local politics than national. It seems to me the second you throw your name in the hat for a big ticket, you are probably a ego maniacal jerk with some angle or agenda that is either immediately obvious or still not recognized. I have become a cynic over the years in regards to politics. It is so hard to know what is true or not in regards to what you hear...it forces you to vote in line with partisan politics and I HATE PARTISAN POLITICS! That is just one man's opinion.
Marque, I understand your feelings. I too am drawn to local politics (I feel like I can actually do something to make a difference.) There are so many politicians that are corrupt (even locally, I have learned.) That is one of the things that draws me to Mitt Romney. He obviously has an incredible success rate in fixing companies, the olympics, MA, etc. I get the impression he isn't your typical politician. He has the knowledge to fix what's broken financially (which I hope means that more of my money will be my money and not the government's.) I will NOT vote for McCain because he is one of those sneaky, dishonest politicians that is a "Democrat in sheeps clothing". Really, what has he ever fixed?
I will get off my soapbox now. If you want to hear any more of my opinions I'd gladly give them. But I'm sure that's more than enough. (Did you notice it looks like you are not the only one that is undecided. I'd love to know who it is.) :)
Casey, I have always loved that you do get involved politically on all levels. I am not smart enough to tell what is truth from fiction. We are only able to make decisions based on what someone with some angle wants us to hear. Again, it is near impossible for me to tell truth from fiction. On a local level, there is less media involved and of course the financial benefits of being involved in politics are not as appealing, thus not creating the draw of a national level. I do know this, I HATE career politicians. I think Hillary is the coldest fish that ever did swim. She gives me the chills.
Wow, what fun! We wish we could come right back this weekend... Becca mentioned that family was starring in your blog this week so I had to check it out. I feel so famous.
We love you all!
