These girls love a good camping trip. So since Tim got his truck we decided it would be a good idea to break it in and go camping. It was so great to just throw everything in the back and not worry about if it was all going to fit. We drove down to Parker Canyon Lake. It was so close to the boarder that my phone changed to international calling.
It was beautiful. One of the first things we did was check out the lake.
Of course they can't just look at it.
Tim tried to teach them how to skip rocks.
The next day we still did our annual Easter egg hunt. I'm sure the fellow campers thought we were a little strange with our Easter baskets and egg hunt but the girls had a great time and there were plenty of places to hide the eggs. The only disappointment - no hard boiled eggs. The girls seem to like those as much as the plastic ones.
After that we played a rousing game of TV tag all around our campsite. Again, I'm sure the other campers thought we were a little crazy.
We cleaned up and then drove home. The ride home consisted of this beautiful scenery and Weird Al songs on Pandora.
Easter Sunday the next day. Here they are all cleaned up in there Easter outfits.
And to finish off the night, Easter Dinner.
