Alexa finished off her first FULL year of piano. She enjoys it (I think.) Here are the two pieces she played. The poor girl had to go first so it was a little scary. But I still think she did a great job. (I don't know, I could be a little bias though.) She did look cute though with her hair up. It's the only chance these days that I get to pick how her hair is done. (I told her since I paid for the lessons I get to pick how her hair is done and that she had to wear a skirt - which was torture for her.)

She is so lovely! I LOVE the strawberry jam post, especially the part of not doing anything for your children they can do themselves. I SO needed that reminder. SO needed. And Mckenna is adorable. Two! What?
Okay a few things. Alexa is so good for only playing for 1 year. She is so talented. Love Mckenna's face in the picture with the pancakes. Brandon's b-day is May 30th also. I didn't realize they shared a b-day and only 1 year apart. I love strawberry freezer jam. I made some this year and the kids love it.
Good Job, Lex!!!! And what's with the music on the second piece--looks like you had it memorized--Good for you. Also, you were just like a pro--didn't let any little mistake throw you off. That's what Grandpa always says--make a mistake--just keep moving along. That's how he does it.
By the way, your mom is right--Cute hair! Wish I could have been there.
